Financial literacy & self employment for Women Community Service

Financial literacy & self employment for Women

Our club organised a financial literacy and self employment guidance camp for middle & lower income group women at Ambarnath. Officers from RBI and PSU banks guided the participants on various government schemes available specially for women and how it can benefit their families and the society overall. There were more than 50 participants and we had a very good session. Light snacks and cold drinks were served to all.

Wadi chi Jatra (Fun fair)

Fun fair (wadichi jatra) was organised by our club with Inner Wheel club of Ambarnath at our Rotary Adivasi School. It was a unique project where adivasi students from our school were given an opportunity to enjoy the fun filled fun fare. Lots of games, rides, comic characters, tattoo experience and delicious food was organised. Students with their parents enjoyed the fair to the fullest. Over 250 students and parents participated.

Diwali celebration and Faral distribution

🌸 Diwali Faral Distribution Project 🌸 Our Club celebrated this Diwali with joy and compassion by distributing Faral sweets to various homes and villages over three days. 🪔 15th October: Distribution at Beghar Home (home for the homeless). 🪔 16th October: Faral distributed in Badlapur Gaon — to the Aged Home, Children’s Home, and Adivasi Savarli Gaon on the hill. 🪔 17th October: distribution in Ulhasnagar at Special Children’s Homes.

Inter school Patriotic song singing competition

Inter School Patriotic song singing competition was organised in association with Inner Wheel club of Ambarnath. Total 28 schools and 280 students participated. All participants were given lunch, certificates and medals. Trophies were awarded to winners. Our DG Rtn Harsh Makol was the Chief Guest. Subedar Mr Gawai was guest of honour. Local MLA Rtn Balaji Kinikar also graced the occasion. This event also received huge appreciation and media coverage.
